Dear Sir/Madam
My business counts on telecom and broadband services that are as good as any in the world, and priced reasonably. I'm concerned that the recent CRTC decision on essential services will give Bell Canada/Telus the opportunity to shut down competition.
Without competition, prices will rise, service will suffer, and there will be little or no innovation. This would be bad for our company and for the Canadian economy, at a time when we need to improve our productivity and competitiveness.
I urge you to do what you can to reverse this CRTC decision, which clearly fails to understand how important these services are, and how vital it is that we have the benefits of competitive service providers.
Please write to tell me what your position will be.
Sincerely,
